Whether your organization is a cooperative or an investor-owned utility, Outshine Energy has an offering that will hit the mark for your organization and the community it serves. The primary construct in order to take advantage of the benefits of the renewable energy project (solar and/or wind) from within your service territory is a power purchase agreement and energy storage from a capacity sales agreement:
Power Purchase Agreement: Your utility organization enters into a pre-agreed upon price through the contract life and in exchange received renewable electricity and, commonly, green attributes including but not limited to renewable energy credits (RECs). The agreement between Outshine Energy and your utility for the physical delivery of electricity and RECs. Your organization is not saddled with having to buy the renewable energy project but may have the opportunity to do so in the future. Outshine Energy contracts, develops, and delivers a solar, wind, and/or energy storage solution to your utility and the community it serves.
Capacity Sales Agreement: Outshine Energy applicable energy storage technology into its renewable energy project. Electricity buyers receive resource adequacy benefits or other capacity attributes. Services from energy storage include:
